Tuition Down Payment for the April 2014 Covington Advanced EMT Class.
Non refundable payment for payment on tuition for class beginning on April 29, 2014 and ending no later than September 9, 2014.
To participate in this program you will be expected to pay a $200.00 down payment with monthly payments of $325.00 per month for 5 months. Your down payment will be due before April 29, 2014 and your first monthly payment is due on 5/29/2014 and each monthly payment will be due by day listed below. Any student that pays late will be subject to a $50 late payment fee. All payments must be up-to-date to attend labs or clinical rotations.
Payment Schedule:
Downpayment = $200 (Due before April 29, 2014)
May 29, 2014 = $325
June 29, 2014 = $325
July 29, 2014 = $325
August 29, 2014 = $325
September 9, 2014 = $325
Total payments equal $1,825
Tuition payments include:
1. Scheduled class instruction and instructor availability. Class schedule is posted online and a class calender will be provided at the first class orientation.
2. A total of 8 (eight) of the required (eight) lab sessions including all lab instruction. Lab sessions will be offered at the Covington location. In the event that a student is unable to attend a scheduled lab session the student will have to make up the missed lab and will be required to pay a $20 lab cancellation fee.
3. Clinical student preparation, monitoring and arrangement of a mutually agreed upon clinical site by the GAIEMS Clinical Coordination Team. Once your clinical clearance is approved, it is the responsibility of the student to attend and perform under the clinical guidelines out lined. Please note that tuition does not cover fees associated with your clinical rotations. CLINICAL CLEARANCE WILL NOT BE APPROVED BY THE CLINICAL COORDINATION TEAM UNTIL ALL FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS TO GAIEMS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED AND POSTED TO YOUR STUDENT ACCOUNT.
Please note that tuition does not cover books or fees that you may be subject to. Potential fees are listed below, please not that fees are subject to change:
- Background check for clinical – $50
- Drug test for clinical – $45
- Malpractice Insurance for clinical – $40
- Clinical uniform shirt – $30 – $35 (depending on size)
- Clinical uniform pants and boots (varies depending on where you purchase them)
- TB screening – $30 – $50 depending on where you go
- Vaccinations – Depending on your personal situation
- Lab manual – $30
- Books – $50 – $150 depending on where you purchase from
- Online access – $150
- Stethoscope & BP Cuff – $15 – $30 depending on where you purchase from
- Headphones & Microphone for Computer – $15 and up depending on where you purchase from
All tuition payments are non-refundable. By paying your course tuition and/or down payment, you acknowledge that you understand that you will be responsible for the full tuition payment regardless if you complete the course or not and that all course fees and payments are non-refundable.
